Ted Baker Tile Collection Photography by Cyan Studios

Aspire tile range from British Ceramic Tile

“I couldn’t believe that the kitchen images were CGI, in particular the bespoke kitchen
cameo featuring the GeoTile with the teal hand painted doors.”

Ted baker CEO, Ray Kelvin.

The ‘Ted Baker’ Brief

British Ceramic Tile – BCT  collaborated with Ted Baker for a new range of tiles, entitled Ted Baker Residence. The collection includes the GeoTile range, which was based on Edwardian tiles in London townhouses; the ParqTile designed to create a parquet effect; the ArTile, which features art work; and the 3D-effect TacTile range. We were asked by British Ceramic Tile to produce a portfolio of images to best present this exciting tile range.

We really enjoyed working on this project and we’re so proud of the results and the exposure they have had such as featuring on the front cover of  TSJ Tile and Stone Journal June 2015.  The success of this commission relied on our experience in project management, design, styling and 3D design.  The speed at which the client responded to images with feedback and approval was also fantastic and allowed us to fully satisfy the brief and hit the deadline. A great achievement by all involved.

Skill Set

Our team are highly skilled and creative, comprising of project managers, designers, stylists, CGI designers and photographers.

From the initial ideas through to the final image retouching and CGI renders, they all played a vital role in creating the resulting photographic and computer generated (CGI) images for this project.

The ‘Ted Baker’ Collection

Ted came to British Ceramic Tile a short while ago, fresh from a spell in Europe where he’d been wandering in search of inspiration. During his travels, Ted’s discerning eye happened upon a stylishly striking house made entirely of tiles. From floor to ceiling, every inch was adorned in the finest ceramics; even the furniture and oven were adorned in intricate mosaic.

“Isn’t it funny”, remarked Ted, “how one tiny piece makes all the difference?”

Believing a shirt bedecked in mosaic to be a little cumbersome for the modern man about town, Ted set about creating a range of tiles that could decorate the home instead. As the premier purveyors of British tiles, Ted placed his confidence in British Ceramic Tiles to craft alongside him an awe-inspiring range that combines their passion for quality and design with his own unique flair.

Customers can now select from one of four lifestyle packages as well as British Ceramic Tile’s designer collection, which includes collaborations with iconic design names such as Conran, Laura Ashley and Hemingway.
